CONSULTING

 

I have worked as a consultant for Environmental Impact Statements on the effects and consequences of various construction projects for particular life history stages of lobsters:

the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority for the Mass Bay sewage outfall pipe that was installed in 1998 and which came on line in 1999 (click here to read the final report and examine Attachment 1 to initial analysis here)the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the effects of deepening the inner Boston Harbor shipping channel, aka The Boston Harbor Deep Draft Navigation Improvement Project

I have also consulted on the scientific accuracy of programming for GRB Entertainment ("Extreme Contact"), have acted as a reviewer for a variety of scientific journals, and have served as an editor for Northeastern Naturalist,Journal of Crustacean Biology, and Marine and Freshwater Research.
